Traffic Is A Key Component

Traffic Is A Key Component

Traffic is the one thing that you need in order to get eyes on your offers, to create leads, then converting those leads into customers, then repeat customers. Although you should focus on conversions, you need to learn the skills needed in order to drive hordes of traffic to your websites.

When I first started in my online journey I struggled to drive traffic to my offers, just like 90 percent of newbie marketers. So I knew I needed to figure out what I had to do in order to get people seeing my offers.

In the beginning I was using marketing techniques that used free advertising only. No paid traffic. What a waste of my time that was! I was posting on classified ads and never made a cent. I had it all wrong by just promoting things like free samples, gift cards, email subscribes, and a bunch other random items.

Anyways I needed to figure this traffic thing out quickly because I was already in debt. If I didn’t figure out a way to start making steady income I was going to have to quit homeschooling my children (which was not an option I was willing to make) so that I could go back to work full time.

I can sure tell you that it did not feel very good when I saw all these other marketing guru’s generating hundreds of leads every single day! I figured that there had to be something that they all knew or had access to that I did not.

So there I was, falling deeper in to debt trying to get my online business going. All I was doing was wasting time and money also becoming very stressed out and overwhelmed. I was not sure if I was going to be able to make this business work.

It was then that I just happened to stumble across a training product. It was a traffic strategy that I had not used before. Solo Ad Marketing. I was intrigued right away. Maybe this would be just what I needed.

A solo ad allows you to legally tap into other peoples lists. You choose a vendor, who already has an email list. Then you pay them to blast your ad out to the list of people they have already created. Thus having you get opt ins from their list. Which brings them to your list. solo ad secret, list building is key to success with solo ads!

Solo ads are very successful. The vendors have already built their list, already having trust with them. They are sending your ad out to people that are already interested in your offer.

You do want to take the time to find good vendors. And you also need to know what to look for when searching out vendors. As well as making sure to know what questions to ask them in order to determine whether you should purchase from them or not.

Like with all things, there will be vendors that you will not want to purchase from. This is where the vendor selection process comes in handy! I will give a full explanation of that process here in a bit.

So there I was, I purchased the training product and dove in head first. It all made complete sense, he broke down the entire process into different steps and it was easy to grasp the concept.

It was a few days after that when I made my first sale online! It was from running my very first solo ad. I could hardly wait to continue to use the steps that his product taught me. It really broke down how to research different vendors, what to ask them, tracking the ad, and writing ad copy.

Within eight days I had a subscriber list of over 1400 people and had gotten my first sale! It felt so amazing to know that I had broken through the difficulty of getting eyes on my offers. I was hooked on solo ad marketing from there on.

The training product that I mentioned earlier was created by my mentor Misha Wilson. Misha has successfully built a business from scratch to 1.7 Million in sales within nine months using solo ads! To top it off he did all of that by the age of just 25!

Though there are many other facets to online marketing then just traffic, traffic and leads is where it all begins. Once I got the traffic down, I was then able to start focusing on other activities in my business like follow up.

There is no right or wrong paid advertising strategy. Just figure out which platform fits for you as quickly as possible. Then concentrate on mastering that skill and expand your intellectual capital. Also put in to action what you learn as soon as you can and you will see results.

Once you have consistent flow of targeted leads, then you can move to another aspect of your business and master that as well. Remember even the top guru’s out there always keep investing in there intellectual capital!

As promised above, I wanted to break down the vendor selection process and the questions to ask each vendor to ensure good quality vendor selection.

So first of all when choosing a vendor, You want to check out a few things.

1. Make sure that the vendor you have selected has an actual sales page for their solo ads.

2. Check for a picture or video of the vendor on their sales page and match it with their social media profiles. (that way you know it is a real person)

3. Look for testimonials that other customers have given and posted of that specific vendor. Make sure that the testimonials look real and legit. Also          make sure to look for the testimonials being from other customers that have gotten sales, not just a testimonial from one vendor to the next.

4. Make sure to connect with the vendor personally using Skype or Facebook. This way you can feel them out and ask them all the right questions to          ensure good quality vendors.

That is the Vendor Selection Process.

Now I will share with you the proper questions to ask each vendor before you purchase from them.

1. Make sure that they WILL send using your swipe copy. Your swipe copy is the equivalent to your ad. If they will not send using your swipe copy              move on to the next vendor.

2. Ask for 85% top tier traffic. (meaning 85% English speaking countries)

3. Ask the vendor when was the last time they sent your offer to their list. You want it to be at least 2 and a half 3 weeks ago.

4. Ask them how long it will take to deliver your clicks. Anything under 1000 clicks should take 72 hours max.

5. Ask them the price per click. Then whatever their reply is, ask for 20% under that price. You will find that there is plenty of vendors that are willing      to negotiate the price. However if you don’t ask it won’t happen.

6. Make sure that the vendor is using their own list. (not selling for someone else)

If you make sure to follow those steps and ask the questions this will help put you in a place of Authority! Which will entice the vendor to give you exactly what you are asking for. (No funny business)

A little extra bonus that I want to share with you is how to effectively track the traffic and clicks that you have purchased from each vendor. Here is that process.

What You Want To Track

1. Total number of clicks received. (to ensure you got all clicks you purchased)

2. Conversions per clicks received. (which will tell you what vendors traffic converts best)

3. Quality of traffic received. (which tells you what percent top tier traffic you received)

All three of these things can be very easily tracked using a program called ClickMagick.

You now have the tools and know how to successfully go out and purchase a solo ad!

To Your Success!
